Coric gives the answer to one of the hardest questions ever asked

Borna answered the question that most tennis players would never answer in a million years; he was asked when Nadal and Federer would lose against the next-gen players; his answer is here.

Coric was going to accomplish most likely the best win in his profession a month ago in the BNP Paribas Open semi-finals in Indian Wells against Roger Federer. The Croatian was driving 7-5, 4-2, at that point he lost the match in the third set.

Asked by Gazzetta Dello Sport when Next Gen players will have the capacity to conquer Federer and Rafael Nadal, Coric answered: ‘When they stop. It’s very tough. They are at the peak, they play incredible tennis.”

“It’s very tough to beat them, not only once but just to have continuous good results.”

It’s going to take some time for sure, but I hope we can do it in the next years.”

Speaking about Next Generation’s qualities, Coric added:

‘There are a couple of guys who are doing really well.

All of us are going to be a very good opponent for each other, and we are very good friends, which I think it’s important.’

Commenting on his goals, the Croatian was cautious:

‘I want to stay healthy, that’s the main thing because in the last years I wasn’t able to stay healthy.”

Is it really that hard to beat Nadal and Federer?

Coric who is a pretty great player himself is persuaded that these stars have to be out of the courts for anyone to ever beat their records. Well, this might be true because Nadal only seems to be getting better.  As for Federer though, we are certain that there are players who could easily take him out.

The next-gen players only need to borrow a few leaves of tennis wisdom from their idols.  This can only be achieved by getting close to them and watching them play at close range, or better yet they could play together.

All in all, we wish Coric the very best in his career and we hope to see more of him against the top beasts in tennis. Keep staying healthy and practice more, you will get there one day!
